Hyuk Tae Kwon

Managing Partner & CEO

Hyuk Tae is a seasoned CEO with a decade of experience in finance and investment, having started his career at Goldman Sachs Japan & Singapore.

Hyuk Tae is an early investor in Pinkfong Babyshark, Smartplay, Bepro11 and Spatial, advising them on successful growth and expansion strategies globally.

Shaun Chang

Chief of Staff

Shaun directs the firm's investment strategy and guides the investment process from sourcing to due diligence. With experience in business development and strategy consulting at SEA and PwC Singapore, he excels in accelerating growth and executing strategic initiatives.

Shaun also leads the Singapore operations and compliance strategy; his focus on corporate governance and market insights is invaluable to the team.

Shaevin Lim

Fund Operations

Shaevin oversees the day-to-day operations at Pine Venture Partners, ensuring seamless fund administration, compliance, and investor reporting. With a focus on efficiency and precision, she plays a critical role in managing workflows, optimizing processes, and supporting the firm’s growth.

As Director of Pine Venture Partners, Hyuk Joo shapes the firm's investment strategy in South Korea, overseeing the investment process from sourcing to due diligence.

With experience in business analysis and project management at Smart Play and Evalueserve, she excels in managing distributor performance, project coordination, and market analysis.
